Our treatments

Every treatment, explained plainly

What each treatment involves, what it is for, and what to expect. Prices depend on your case, so the exact figure comes after the doctor has looked. Consultation is ₹300 and nothing starts on the same day unless you want it to.

Root canal treatment

A root canal saves a tooth whose nerve is infected or dying, and it is the treatment Dr Nisha is best known for. She holds a PG Certificate in Root Canal Treatment and is recognised as one of the best root canal specialists in Gurugram. The thing patients mention most afterwards is how little it hurt.

  • Single-rooted root canal (front teeth and premolars)
  • Molar root canal (multi-rooted, back teeth)
  • Re-RCT: re-treatment of a root canal done elsewhere that has failed
  • Post and core to rebuild a badly broken tooth before its crown
  • Apicoectomy when infection persists at the root tip
  • Same-day relief for a tooth that is keeping you up at night

A root-canalled tooth almost always needs a crown afterwards to protect it. Both are planned together at the consultation so there are no surprises.

Braces

Fixed braces move teeth into line over 12 to 24 months. They work at any age, and which type suits you depends on how visible you want them to be and how complex the movement is.

  • Metal braces, the most economical and still the workhorse
  • Ceramic braces, tooth-coloured and far less visible
  • Self-ligating metal and ceramic braces, fewer adjustment visits
  • Retainers after treatment so the result stays put
  • Monthly adjustment visits at the clinic, 10am to 8pm

Every braces plan includes the retainers at the end, charged separately, because without them teeth drift back.

Clear aligners

A series of clear, removable trays that straighten teeth without brackets or wires. You take them out to eat and brush, and most people around you never notice.

  • Invisalign, the original clear aligner system
  • Indian aligner systems at a lower price point
  • Digital scan and a preview of the planned result before you commit
  • Suitable for mild to moderate crowding, gaps and bite issues
  • Fewer clinic visits than braces
  • Retainers included in the plan at the end

Aligners only work if they are worn 20 to 22 hours a day. If that is not realistic for you, the doctor will say so and suggest braces instead.

Dental implants

An implant replaces a missing tooth from the root up: a titanium fixture in the bone, then a crown on top that looks and chews like your own tooth. Dr Nisha holds a PG Certificate in Implantology from Switzerland.

  • Korean implants (Osstem, Dentium), dependable and economical
  • Dental bridges where an implant is not the right answer
  • Implant crown fitted once the fixture has integrated
  • Bone graft where the jaw needs building up first
  • All-on-4 and All-on-6 full-arch replacement for a whole upper or lower set
  • Complete dentures as the removable alternative

Whether an implant, a bridge or a denture is right for you depends on your bone, your budget and how many teeth are missing. That is a conversation at the consultation, not a menu.

Crowns, veneers and smile design

Crowns protect a weak or root-canalled tooth. Veneers change the shape and colour of the teeth you show when you smile. Smile design plans the whole front of the mouth together so the result suits your face.

  • Metal, PFM, zirconia and E-max all-ceramic crowns
  • Temporary crowns while the final one is made
  • Composite veneers, done in a single visit
  • Porcelain veneers, lab-made and longer lasting
  • Diastema closure for the gap between front teeth
  • Full smile design and makeover

Zirconia and E-max crowns are metal-free, so there is never a grey line at the gum. PFM and metal crowns remain good options for back teeth.

Kids' dentistry

Children are treated with the extra patience they need, so the first visit does not become the reason they fear the next one. Milk teeth matter: they hold space for the adult teeth and an infection in one can hurt just as much.

  • Kids' fillings and extractions
  • Pulpotomy and pulpectomy, the milk-tooth versions of a root canal
  • Stainless steel crowns for badly decayed milk teeth
  • Space maintainers when a milk tooth is lost early
  • Habit-breaking appliances for thumb sucking and tongue thrusting
  • Pit and fissure sealants to stop cavities before they start

Bring your child for a first look around age one, or whenever the first tooth appears. A visit where nothing is done is the best way to make the second one easy.

Extractions and wisdom teeth

Sometimes a tooth cannot be saved, and sometimes a wisdom tooth is coming in sideways and needs to go. Both are done under local anaesthetic, with clear instructions for the days afterwards.

  • Simple extractions of loose, broken or badly decayed teeth
  • Surgical extractions where the tooth has to be sectioned or bone removed
  • Impacted wisdom tooth removal
  • Extractions before braces when there is not enough room
  • Emergency extractions for a tooth that cannot wait
  • Written aftercare and a follow-up call

Dr Nisha is ranked among Gurugram's top dentists for emergency cases. If you are in pain, call and say so, and you will be seen the same day.

Cleaning, fillings and whitening

The everyday work that keeps everything else from being needed. A cleaning every six months, small cavities filled while they are still small, and whitening when you want it.

  • Scaling and polishing
  • Deep cleaning (root planing) for gums that bleed or have pulled back
  • Composite tooth-coloured fillings and GIC fillings
  • Inlays and onlays for cavities too big for a filling
  • Laser teeth whitening in a single sitting
  • Night guards and mouth guards for grinding and sport

A single-tooth X-ray is ₹200 and a full-mouth OPG is ₹700, and either is only taken when the doctor needs it to decide.
